Pricing begins at $2-$6 and up but, because all of our cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. Prices vary depending on flavor and filling, whether it is a tiered, shaped or 3D cake and whether we are using buttercream or fondant as well as the amount of details on the cake.
Our tiered and wedding cakes are priced by the serving and include any combination of basic flavor(s) and a filling(s).

All Occassion cakes should be ordered at least 6-8 weeks in advance.
You may place your Wedding/Quinceanera cake order as soon as you decide on your event date. Typically wedding cakes are ordered 3-6 months in advance and in some cases up to a year. Appointments are required for all cake Consultations.
Although, we make every effort to accommodate last minute orders we can only accept a limited amount of cakes per week.

There are only so many cakes we can do each week. Once we reach that number then we can accept no more cake orders

Time and design variations are the most costly factors in determining the final price of your Wedding/Quinceanera cake. This is why we require setting up a FREE consultation.
Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. Your date is not reserved until we have received a deposit from you.
Our wedding cakes include four layers of basic flavor(s) cake and three layers of filling(s) and are iced in our delicious buttercream which vary in price by servings and difficulty of design. Specialty flavors and fillings as well as fondant covered cakes require an additional fee.
Extra serving "kitchen cakes" are available for $2 per serving. Kitchen cakes are sheet cakes made to supplement the wedding cake and delivered to the kitchen staff when the wedding cake is delivered.
A $100 non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date and can be in the form of cash, credit or check. Your deposit is non-refundable. You may pay in installments if you wish. Final payments are due 3weeks before your wedding date.
A delivery and setup fee will be charged on all wedding cakes based on mileage.
We also a FREE Top Tier on Wedding cakes for the Bride and Groom to keep.

Cake Tastings are available FREE of charge for Weddings and Quinceaneras only.
You may pick upto 4 Flavors, we typically will prepare an assortment of fillings to pair with your flavors.
Consultations typically last about an hour. We will have your 4 cake flavors and 4 filling flavors that have been chosen beforehand & our buttercream.
You will be sampling small portions during our meeting to determine what your final cake and filling flavors will be for your design. You will be able to mix and match the cake and filling flavors to find out what combination works best for your pallette.
We will discuss designs and decorations as well as any questions that you have, and will produce a sketch and an estimate of your wedding cake, if requested. Then, if you are ready, you can book your cake at the end of your consultation.
Yes, depending on its design you may choose a variety from our selection of delicious flavors if your cakes design allowes for it.
For example, on sheet cakes half of your servings could be vanilla cake with strawberry mousse filling, and the other half could be chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling.
You could also have one tier banana cake with hazelnut mousse, another tier chocolate cake with raspberry mousse, and another tier Italian Creme cake with cream cheese filling.
A third way to get variety within your cake is to mix up the cake within the tier itself. Each tier of cake has four layers of cake and three fillings. You could have 1/2 chocolate 1/2 vanilla cake with chocolate mousse or alternating layers of cake and fillings.
When you mix up the cake flavors, you need to be aware that you will probably not have any control over who gets what, if your cake is served as dessert.
Banquet halls typically pass out cake as people are mingling and do not ask about flavor preferences. As long as you are okay with your guests getting whatever is available, then feel free to order different cake flavors.
One way to bypass this problem is to order different cake flavors within each piece, as in the third example above.
We would recommend ordering a smaller "display" cake and having an "extra servings" cake to serve the remaining guests.

Delivery is available for a fee. Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled from San Juan, TX to your location. Our minimum delivery fee is $35.00 for local Wedding cake deliveries. Additional fees may increase depending on distance. All other delivery fees for occassion cakes depend on distance and difficulty of delivery and can range from $15 to $35 and up. Deliveries to South Padre Island have a minimum $100+ delivery fee
While it is generally not a problem for clients to transport smaller cakes, Birthday cakes and other custom cakes are generally not a problem for the customer to pickup and transport, self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.
Honey's Cakes does not recommend clients self-transport cakes over 3 tiers tall, or any cake more than 3 hours and is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our bakery.
We DO NOT SHIP cakes.
We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover Credit and Debit or Check.
Any time you pick up a cake from us, it is always a good idea to have a large flat area in your vehicle dedicated for transporting the cake. We are always happy to carry your cake out to your car.
Putting cakes on people’s laps is NEVER recommended. If it fits, the floor of your car is often the best place for putting a cake. The front seat of a car with a towel is also recomended. For full sheet or tiered cakes, you should make arrangements to pick up your cake in an SUV or van.
A bath towel is strongly advised. It will allow us to level out any surface for easier transportation.
Self-transporting any cake is at your own risk.
